NickFinder.io ("we", "our", "the Site") provides a free gaming nickname and fancy-text generator. You do not need to create an account or provide any personal information to use the core tools on this Site. This Privacy Policy explains what limited information we and our service providers collect, why, and the choices available to you.
We collect the following categories of information:
- Usage analytics — aggregated, anonymized data about page views, approximate location (country/city level), device type, and browsing behavior, collected via Google Analytics.
- Voluntarily submitted content — if you use the "Voted Nicknames" community feature, the nickname and vote you submit may be stored to display community rankings. Do not submit personal information as part of a nickname.
- Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, and request timestamps, collected automatically by our hosting and security providers for operational and security purposes.
We do not require registration, and we do not knowingly collect names, email addresses, or payment information through the core nickname-generation tools.
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies in the following categories:
- Essential cookies — required for the Site to function correctly (e.g. remembering your language or display preferences). These cannot be disabled without affecting basic functionality.

- Supabase — database service used to power optional community features (e.g. the voted-nicknames leaderboard).
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and may process data outside your country of residence.
NickFinder.io is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below and we will take steps to remove it.
Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ standard retention settings. We take reasonable technical measures (including the security headers and access controls described in our infrastructure) to protect the limited data we handle, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the EU/UK or similar laws elsewhere), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. NickFinder.io is accessed by users worldwide. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be processed by service providers located in countries other than your own, including the United States and the European Union, as described in Section 4.
